Best Western Acorn Inn

We tried several rooms, but the smell was awful, a mix of smoke and pets. We left because it was too gross to stay. I think the new management put up the flyswatters; they weren't there when I used to stay here. It used to be a plain but clean place that was fine for a night's sleep while driving. Shame.

Our door was broken at motel 6, so I ended up at SureStay to get some rest while on the road. The rooms were affordable, and Shawn GM manger was professional and really helpful. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for your help, Shawn, and keep up the great service 👍🏾 😀👍🏾

The comfortable king bed is the only reason I didn't rate this lower. We had reserved a king room, but there was a weird smell, and in the middle of the night my husband got up to use the bathroom and saw roaches running across the floor. We joked about the flyswatter hanging on the wall when we first arrived, but maybe they expected us to help kill roaches. If so, they should have discounted the $106 charged to our card. I would have rated this higher otherwise, but we won't be back 😕.

The air conditioning and hot water worked, at least. The TV didn't, and neither did the phone to the front desk. We asked to switch rooms but they wouldn't move us. Before we could even settle in, they gave each of us our own fly seater, and we had to use them. There was also a spider crawling on the ceiling. I give it one star, assuming the roof would keep rain off if it rained. I guess we have to blame Best Western.
