Days Inn by Wyndham Camilla

The staff were personable and helpful, which was the one good part of this stay. The booking site said there was a breakfast room, but guests can no longer use one. The room seemed as clean as they could make it, but it needs a lot of repairs, paint, and general care. The accessible room wasn't ideal: it had a tub with grab bars but no walk-in option, and the bed was too high for someone with a disability to get in and out of safely.

Jaime, the manager, was very hospitable and apologized because breakfast was advertised as included even though it was no longer offered. That was one of the reasons I'd booked. I had also reserved a smoking room by mistake, and he switched me to a non-smoking one. The hotel and parking lot were clean. I'd recommend it for a short visit and would book again if I needed to.

We picked this place because of the Days Inn/Wyndham name and the amenities listed, and left deeply disappointed. There was no free breakfast, coffee maker or coffee, iron, or ironing board, despite those being advertised and things we counted on. The room was dirty and poorly kept, with sticky surfaces, filthy doors and trim, and an extremely dirty chair. There were only two sets of towels for three adults, and staff said they had no more, so we had to buy towels and supplies ourselves. We were traveling for a family funeral and already had a terrible time. We also got locked out of our room. The bathroom outlets didn't work, and the hair dryer was placed where it made them unusable.

I was happy with my night here. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but could tell someone had smoked in it as soon as I walked in. The manager apologized and quickly moved me to a lovely, clean room. Very pleased, thanks!
