The owners were so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. My wife and I only stayed one evening and wished we had more time. It was especially meaningful to me because this property used to belong to my grandfather when I was a kid. We missed having dinner there since the restaurant wasn’t open that evening, but we’re looking forward to our next trip. We’ll be back for sure, and highly recommend staying.

We had a family birthday weekend, and the suite style rooms were even better than we expected. They set up a big table for our dinner at Butter, the in house restaurant, in a separate room, then lit the fire pit for us by the brook. Breakfast was included and served family style, so everyone got to try everything. The dinner was fabulous and the breakfast amazing. Definitely worth it for a weekend getaway.

The rooms are clean and clearly gut renovated, and the place is dog friendly. It’s family run and has an amazing restaurant. Breakfast was amazing, and dinner was even better. I’d stay here again!

For an event in the Poconos, I highly recommend staying at Frogtown. Carol knows everyone, and her advice and guidance while I was getting ready for my wedding were indispensable. I stayed there with my family in the leadup to the wedding, and we made unforgettable memories. We also held our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch at Butter. Mark’s cooking was just as good for those large groups as for more intimate dinners. Guests at both events raved about the food, and even some of the pickiest eaters were satisfied. The inn feels like a home away from home. I loved waking up and heading downstairs to Mark’s incredible breakfast, sitting by the fire and having good conversation with Carol, then being just minutes from excellent hiking. It’s dog friendly, with a fantastic little stream behind the inn. Carol’s decorating and attention to detail are second to none, and Mark makes some of the best food you’ll ever eat. Thanks, Carol and Mark. I look forward to coming back!

The restaurant, Butter, was a treat, and the service there was very good. Its menu has enough variety without being overwhelming. We got a Tokyo Mule, the Sidecar, The Margarita Flatbread, the Lobster Campanelle, the Horseradish Crusted Salmon, a Nutty Irish dessert cocktail, an Espresso Martini, and a dessert to share that I can’t remember. We ate every bit. Generous portions and fantastic flavors. Dinner isn’t included with your stay, but I highly recommend trying the restaurant. Breakfast was included and fantastic, with fresh food and top quality ingredients. I had the special with truffle and asparagus and home fries, which was VERY good. My lady loved her scrambled eggs with sausage patties, home fries, blueberry pancake, and toast. Mark and Carol were so accommodating and made us feel welcome during our weekend away. The room was spotless and super cozy, and the beds were so comfortable that we honestly got the best sleep ever. The satellite TV service was a nice touch for watching shows while unwinding. With the decor and the care from Mark and Carol, the Frogtown Inn felt like a second home. Everything was fantastic, and it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended!
