It took six phone calls before I finally got my refund. Management said the bugs were expected because of a nearby bog. I travel for work and stay at Holiday Inns across the country, and this was by far the worst one. I didn’t know Holiday Inn was okay with bugs in guest rooms. Even aside from the bugs, the place was dirty and outdated. Please don’t stay here. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give it.

For years, when I came to Canandaigua for ski trips, I stayed at the budget place. Switching to the Holiday Inn this time was a huge step up: it was clean, comfortable, and well run. It only cost about $10 more than I used to pay. Wish I’d changed over years ago.

The breakfast was awesome, with lots of choices, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The place was very clean, quiet, and affordable. I’d definitely recommend it.

Summer prices can get high, but I’ve stayed here plenty of times and keep finding the rooms clean, the breakfast decent, and the staff helpful. The location is great, too.

The hotel was easy to find, and check-in and checkout were quick and simple. It was very quiet at night, and the staff were kind and helpful. They didn’t have the king room I’d reserved back in May, so they gave me two queen beds for the same price. 🤷 The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel of this caliber. I’d definitely come back.
