The property was small and quiet, and the bed was comfy during our three days at Ecola Creek Lodge in December. It's conveniently placed for Cannon Beach, Ecola Beach, and Arcadia Beach. Each room has a microwave and fridge, though having so little counter space by the Keurig was inconvenient. The hot shower had good pressure. They have rabbits and often host a herd of elk. One thing to watch: rooms at the back have wooden decks that get slippery in all the rain, so be careful if you're worried about taking a tumble.

It has a cozy feel and is quiet at night. The location is great, and you can walk into town in under 10 minutes. Karen at the front desk was so helpful, thoughtful, and considerate, and housekeeping were friendly too. The management is great. We'll definitely be back.

The service was great, and we didn't need much. Rooms were simple and fine, a bit dated, with some peeling paint here and there, but comfortable, functional, and warm on a cool day. The location is good just outside downtown. Cross the creek and it's a short walk into town. Watch for elk, and don't go near them. Just turn around and wait for them to move on.

At dusk, elk were grazing behind the lodge, and the staff were friendly. It's a charming place, though some of the furniture needs upgrading. The light in room #17 poured in through all four windows, so brightly that it came through my eye mask and the covers I'd put over my head. My family staying in #12 didn't have that problem.

The room was spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, and the whole place was peaceful. We arrived late, after the office had closed, but everything was arranged so picking up our key was easy. The morning cookies were delicious. I wish we'd been able to stay longer. Highly recommended!
