We had a quiet Sunday night, and the room even had a microwave. In the evening, you could get pizza and drinks. Breakfast was pretty standard, but there were several creamers, fresh strawberries, and other little extras that made it a good meal. The hotel is well maintained, and the lobby is nicely decorated.

The breakfast area needs some work because the hot food ran out by 8am and wasn’t replenished. Still, we had a good stay in a clean, comfortable, modern hotel. The bar was nice, and the room stayed quiet even though we were across from the pool full of kids and next to the ice machine. I loved the king room’s soaker tub, a little spa experience on vacation.

We stayed in a suite for two nights on a recent road trip to the Cannon Falls area, traveling with our 12 year old Lab Retriever. GrandStay was a perfect fit since it accepted pets. The room was clean and bright, and the breakfast selection made us very happy. Staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in through check-out. We didn’t use the pool or exercise room, though both were available. If we come back to the area, we’d definitely stay again. We highly recommend it for a night while passing through or a few nights as a base for sightseeing.

10-15-2025 was my first stay here. The Queen Rooney was just right for me, with enough space and everything I needed in the layout, TV, and bathroom. The lobby entrance was up to date and very clean. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but only a few minutes away, and the quiet location is a must for me. Seira at the front desk was pleasant to talk to and handled my check-in and request to bring my ADA complaint service anamal. She also answered my questions about safety and the hot breakfast. When I booked, she ensured me the hotel and parking lot were safe and free of bugs and criminals. The whole experience was stellar, and I’d highly recommend this place to others within 20 mike radius from Grandstay hotel of Cannon Falls MN. I look forward to returning when the opportunity comes up. Cheerz

I checked in during a snow storm when traveling wasn’t in my best interest, and hotel receptionist Maddox greeted me warmly and was accommodating. The room was clean and very nice. When I left, Chris at the front desk and the staff who service the rooms were all kind and personable. I would recommend this hotel.
