I could sit by the river here for hours. The property has several fire pits right along the water, and watching the sunset from one of them was a highlight. Fishing is easy too, since the river is only steps away. My room faced the water, so I woke up to a beautiful sunrise reflected on the river. It was peaceful and quiet, with lovely scenery and plenty of privacy. Hideout at Horseshoe made for a wonderful getaway.

The Guadalupe cabin felt like our own little place. It sits apart from the other cabins, and with the plaza across from us, it seemed like we had the area to ourselves. It was reasonably priced, and we loved our stay. The river, coffee, food, and nightlife are all close by. Check-in and checkout were handled remotely, with friendly, professional texts from the staff. The river was clean and beautiful, and things were quiet around the cabin. Road traffic was the one drawback, especially at night, though a speaker and some white noise helped. We’ll definitely be back.

A simple, clean, comfortable room at a very good price. The door code was handy too, no key card to lose or key to leave behind. It worked perfectly for a night before a fishing trip.

We went for a wedding celebration, and the riverside setting was serene and peaceful. The pavilion was lovely, with heaters that came in handy on a cold evening. The Guadalupe River location was very nice. The rooms are minimal, though, and there was nowhere at all to hang our clothes. We had to spread things over the couches and benches.

A lovely, relaxing place for my surprise birthday 🎉. The other guests were so nice and polite, and I really liked the cozy feel of the fireplace. We’ll definitely come back.
