We’ve stayed at Cape Winds three times now and plan to keep coming back. There’s a lot we enjoy here, and the location works for all kinds of reasons. We’ve watched rocket launches and sunrises over the ocean, plus sunsets to the west. The units are well maintained, as are the pool and hot tub. Restaurants are a short drive away, whether you head to Cocoa Beach, the port, or Melbourne. When anything comes up, the host responds quickly and helps us out.

We loved watching rocket launches from the private balcony and taking long walks on the beach. Cape Winds Resort sits right on Cape Canaveral Beach, just steps from the sand and only minutes from Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Waking up to the ocean view felt like paradise. Our condo was clean, roomy, and had what we needed: a full kitchen, comfortable living area, and two bathrooms. The resort also has a heated oceanfront pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis and basketball courts, barbecue grills, free Wi-Fi, and parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and family-friendly, whether you want a quiet break or a vacation full of activities. Cape Winds Resort is clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities and lovely ocean views.

The apartment was in perfect shape, roomy, and stocked with all sorts of amenities, including beach gear. It’s an easy walk to the beach, and a supermarket is about 20 minutes away on foot through a quiet neighborhood. The owners were easy to reach and replied quickly. Really couldn’t have asked for more in a place to stay. One small snag with check-in if you book through Booking.com: it requires a link that Booking.com blocks. Contacting the owners directly is probably easiest, and they’ll sort it out quickly.

The pool area was clean and quiet, and the building also has a hot tub and sauna. The pool is a good size and heated. There’s plenty of parking, including some covered spots. You can get to good restaurants, a grocery store, the pier, and other places easily, but you’ll need a car or bike. We stayed in #101, which is close to beach access and has a nice grassy area where the kids can play. The room was clean and well stocked for cooking, with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and small appliances. The beds, one king and two twins, were comfortable, and having two bathrooms was handy. There’s also a washer and dryer, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler. We noticed a musty, damp smell. It faded after we opened the windows and ran the AC, though some people may be more sensitive to it. The primary bedroom window has only a shade, so parking lot light comes in. If that would bother you, you might want to bring something to block it.
