Fig Street Inn

Greg and Donna are friendly hosts who can point you toward local restaurants, sights and shops. They also make the stay feel special with thoughtful touches: coffee made how you like it delivered outside your door, drinks, beach towels and little extras in the room. Breakfast has plenty of options, and Greg is an excellent chef. The restored residence has spacious rooms and common areas, in a quiet residential setting. An excellent B&B and a lovely Cape Charles stay.

The inn is in a great spot for walking all around town, and the room was outstanding, quiet and had a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the coffee delivered to the room, and breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette. Greg and Donna were warm and friendly, and took time to tell us about the inn’s history since my wife and I love old homes and architecture. A lovely home and experience, with wonderful in-room amenities. We’ll definitely be back.

The neighborhood is picturesque, and downtown is only about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and Greg and Donna were incredibly attentive. We had two wonderful days and nights at the Fig Street Inn, and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, and waking up to coffee brought right to our room made the mornings even nicer. Our hosts put real care into making the stay enjoyable. The room had thoughtful details, and the B&B sits in a peaceful neighborhood. Having private parking was handy too. We had a lovely time and would happily recommend it.
