Courtyard Cape Girardeau Downtown

I’m a traveling physician working in Cape, and I always look forward to staying here. The rooms are huge and incredible, and service is excellent, with everyone super friendly and helpful. James at the front desk is a big reason I keep coming back. He remembers frequent guests’ names and preferences, and always follows through. He needs to be manager, he’s awesome. I only wish the gym were a bit bigger, though it’s still good enough for a hotel.

The downtown location made it easy to walk to several good restaurants, and the staff went out of their way to welcome us and ask if we needed anything. I stayed here on a business trip and would recommend it, and come back. My room was clean and spacious. There’s a restaurant, a small market for essentials, and several lounge chairs in the first-floor lobby. The gym is a decent size, with about five treadmills, two or three ellipticals, two weight machines, hand and bell weights, a small mirror, and mats. There’s also a computer and printer for last-minute business documents.

Parking was super easy, and the hotel sits right on the town’s main drag. It’s a historic place, with nicely preserved interior hallways.

The downtown location is perfect for checking out what the area has to offer. The lobby and rooms were very clean, and the whole hotel smelled pleasant. The staff were excellent hosts. This Courtyard was fantastic!
