Cape Pines Motel

The mattress was basically springs, and I had ongoing shoulder, neck, and hip pain, so I couldn't sleep. Please upgrade it for the price. The rest of the room had what you need for a basic stay and was clean overall, though there was some wear and tear. Soundproofing was okay. I'd suggest a second-floor end unit. The location in the middle of Buxton worked well, with groceries, food, and the beach all nearby. Staff were nice. The front desk is open 9 am-9 pm, and checkout is 10 am. I didn't use the pool, but it still had a motel feel, so I was cautious about safety.

It's been about 18 years since my last stay, which was already awesome, and this visit was even better. My kitchenette room was really clean and comfortable, and I had no trouble adjusting to the great mattress on the first night. The staff are attentive, friendly, and amazing. I plan to come back every year. Can't say enough about Cape Pines motel, thanks for making the stay so wonderful!

With home rental prices climbing, staying in the Outer Banks has become almost unaffordable for most people, so finding this little motel was a relief. It's affordable, very clean, and in a convenient spot. Booking was simple, the staff are friendly, and there's even a cute kitty cat living outside. The motel hasn't been updated in a while, but it's been well maintained, and cleanliness matters a lot to me. We'll definitely stay here again.

Being able to park right outside the room was great, and the kitchen was well stocked. I stayed here for the first time in November and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place was very clean and well cared for. It's clear they work hard to maintain the property and appreciate your business. I'd happily stay again, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
