We just got back from a weekend at Congress Hall and hope to make it an annual trip. The building’s age and details are a big part of its charm: the crooked screen doors, sloping floors, historic photos, and monograms on the bedding and carpet. Our room on the third floor overlooked the pool, which is heated. My husband only realized that too late to enjoy it. The front desk was welcoming, and the room felt warm and cozy, with luxurious bedding you sink into. One tip: if you’ll be driving in and out instead of staying nearby, we wouldn’t recommend valet parking. Guests have a designated area to park themselves. Also, book dinner reservations wherever you plan to eat. Even in February there were crowds. Stay here if you can!

We loved our room and the beautiful architecture of this elegant place. There’s plenty to do, though you can have a quiet visit if that’s more your style. The staff and service were great. Two nights went by too fast, and we’ll be back.

The Brown Room was a favorite, with delicious cocktails and such a warm, beautiful interior. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and our room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. This was my first time in Cape May, and I’ll return, but only if I can stay at this charming inn. It has so much grace, beauty, and hospitality.

Even with the hotel busy over Thanksgiving, we had a great stay. The concierge team helped my family figure out activities in Cape May when nothing was open. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant.

We splurged on a weekend here and would love to make it a tradition. Every detail felt luxurious, from the bedding and bathroom to the tub. The staff were kind and went out of their way to make our son smile, whether with a free sticker or a friendly comment. Winter wonderland was adorable, and we had a great time even in the freezing weather. Dinner at the Blue Pig was lovely, and I had the best espresso martini I’ve ever tasted. We can’t wait to come back! Our Elf on the Shelf came along for the trip, too.
