Mermaid Dreams

The garden is beautiful, with birds humming and geckos resting, and it made us feel like we were in paradise. Breakfast was incredible too, especially the fresh fruit from Heather’s and Bud’s garden. The place was spotless, and every corner inside and out seemed put together with love and great taste. We stayed on three islands during our vacation, Big Island, Maui, and Oahu, and Big Island was our favorite by far. The beauty and lack of crowds were part of it, but finding this wonderful B&B was the main reason. Heather and Bud were fabulous hosts who went above and beyond. Mahalo to them for everything. ❤️🌺❤️

Heather and Bud are amazing hosts, and everything here is stylish and carefully prepared. I really enjoyed breakfast, and Bud is a wonderful cook. Heather helped me find a snorkeler and let me use it for free. It was the perfect getaway for me.

The Jungle Room and the property were amazing, and the breakfast was incredible. Heather and Bud gave Jamie, me, and the other guests so much Aloha through their kindness and hospitality. We really appreciate all the help and love they shared during our vacation. Everything was perfect. We can’t thank you enough. Mahalo Aloha!!!

We couldn’t have been happier at Mermaid Dreams. Heather and Bud are great hosts, the rooms were bright, open, and clean, and breakfast came with wonderful choices and was incredible. We also loved unwinding in the pool at the end of the day. We’d happily return on our next trip to the Big Island.
