Comfort Inn & Suites East Moline near I-80

I really like this place and definitely recommend it! The rooms are roomy, the AC works well, and everything smelled clean, including the sheets. The price feels fair for how comfortable the rooms are. My husband stayed at the hotel next door, and it didn't have the same quality. I'd pick Comfort Inn for sure. Breakfast had lots of options, and the staff were so friendly. We stayed one night in June. The room looked dated, but it was very clean. A good place to get some sleep for the night.

What really hurt my confidence in management was the billing after I checked out early. They kept the charge for the unused nights even though the room was rented again, and weren't willing to give what seemed like a fair refund. I got different explanations from different people about why I couldn't get the money back. One said it was because of a “special promotion,” though that hadn't been clearly disclosed when I booked. The story changed depending on who I spoke with. As a business traveler, this was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I've had. It left me feeling that the property cares more about taking as much money as it can than communicating honestly or treating customers fairly. Frequent travelers need transparency and professionalism, and this place fell badly short on both. I'd urge anyone staying here to read the billing policies carefully and keep detailed notes of every conversation with the hotel.

We were a 4 team soccer club from St.Louis, and this hotel worked perfectly for what we needed. Amanda at the front desk was incredible. She went out of her way for all of us and paid so much attention to what we needed. Her hospitality was off the charts. Thanks, Amanda, you made our trip!
