Quality Inn Carlin

I really liked the waffles at breakfast, and the prices were reasonable too. The front desk staff were very nice. I’d stayed here recently, and wow, the place has changed. The interior looks completely different, and the rooms have been renovated really nicely. I’d stay here again!

The staff were friendly and did what they could, but we ended up leaving and booking somewhere else at the last minute. The property felt like a construction site, with unfinished floors, dust, and exposed water lines in the room. Most amenities were limited or unavailable. Breakfast could be brought to our room, but the choices were only cereal, waffles, and coffee.

Friendly people, a recent remodel, and fair prices. A really good place.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. After at least 15 stays at different Quality Inns over the last several months, this was easily the worst. The place feels transactional and the opposite of hospitable. The front desk forgot to ask important questions at check-in, then sent me back down to pay a deposit. The whole interaction felt unprofessional, including being asked, “Why aren’t you married?” Even the basic details seem to have been done as cheaply as possible, from the room lighting and appliances to breakfast. My phone hotspot worked better than the local WiFi, the coffee maker made it nearly impossible to avoid spilling hot coffee, and a second shower head was mounted haphazardly beside an old one.
