Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea

We had a quiet, enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place. At check-in, Sergio greeted us at the front desk, answered our questions, and was very friendly. Shaun told us what was included with breakfast. Our room was amazing, with a separate bedroom, living room, and full kitchen, and the beds were super comfy too. Breakfast was great, with eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and yogurt.

A great stay, thank you. The suites were clean, comfortable, and stylishly furnished, with full kitchens but no stove. Ours had an excellent bed and bedding, a couch, dining table and chairs, a separate bedroom, and two flatscreen TVs. The pool and hot tub area was lovely, with tropical landscaping, and the staff provided excellent customer care. There are laundry facilities on site, and freeway access makes it easy to reach places around Southern California.

I booked two rooms for one night and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve stayed at the other hotels in the area, and for the price, comfort, and breakfast, I think this was the best choice. Itzel at the counter was helpful and gave great service. The rooms suited what I needed for this trip, with comfortable beds, coffee, a fridge, microwave, two TVs, a couch, and extra seating with tables. I didn’t use the spa or pool, but they looked clean and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I’ll book here again.

The buffet was such a surprise for me. I usually skip hotel breakfasts because they aren’t always good, but here the food was hot and fresh each day, with lots of choices and the best potatoes. I started looking forward to mornings. The service was great. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and helped settle my nerves. This was my first vacation alone with my dog, one I’d planned myself, and I found it a bit daunting. They even texted every night to check that I was okay, which I’d never experienced before. Itzel was great too and made sure I got all my packages. Even the other guests were sweet. It made me want to move here. Thank you so much!
