Carriage House Inn

Breakfast in bed really added to the stay, and they made it fun and special with personal touches for our birthday and Valentine's visit. At Carriage House, the staff were so kind and welcoming, and the whole place had a cozy, warm feel. Our room was clean and nice, the bed extremely comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere in Carmel. Can't recommend it enough.

They decorated our room and left my wife some surprises for when we got back from dinner, which was such a nice touch for her birthday. We met other travelers at the great happy hour, and the staff were excellent. The room was clean, and the order-ahead breakfast was excellent too. She couldn't have been happier with our stay. We'll be back next year to celebrate again!

The location is fabulous, and the staff do a lot to make it feel personal, like a bed and breakfast. The interiors could really use an update, though. As someone who loves decorating, I want to get my hands on the place and take away that 90s feel.

We paid $600 a night for two nights at the Carriage House Inn and felt we were overcharged. Service was lousy, and breakfast was the exact same food reheated the next day. The TV didn't work, and a technician couldn't fix it. We also couldn't turn off the ceiling fan above the bed, so we spent a sleepless night. A technician came again and couldn't repair it, so he disconnected it. We asked the manager to charge the usual rate of $400 a night and refund $400 for our two nights, but they never replied and blocked us from sending more messages. We're very disappointed.
