For a trucker haven, it was relatively quiet over the weekend, and I was pleased with my stay. The price was good for a livable room, and honestly, there were more amenities than I expected. The woman at the front desk mentioned the AAA discount and helped take a couple of dollars off the bill. My one complaint: there were no plugs for the tubs. I like taking baths. In hotels. Deal with it.

My fiancé and I stayed four days and enjoyed it. The place is way back at the end of a dead-end road, and that made it super quiet, though the outside looked a bit scary. Inside was surprisingly decent. There was lobby coffee, but no coffee maker or ice bin in the room, and the ice machine was broken while we were there. The shower pressure was terrible, though it got the job done. Watch out for the tons of paper wasps outside.

The room had a worn, dirty look and feel, and the beds were uncomfortable. We paid almost twice what other travelers who booked at the same time paid. There was no breakfast or ice, and the vending options were terrible. This hotel should be a last choice. You might get a better night's sleep in your car.

Every surface was coated in thick, sticky gunk, the sheets were dirty, and the carpet felt damp and sticky underfoot. I told the front desk, but they did nothing and didn't even come look at the room. I'd driven for 18 hours and was exhausted, so I reluctantly slept on top of the covers for a few hours. It was the only hotel with a room available, and it cost $271 for one night. I checked out just hours after checking in because the place was so nasty. I don't recommend it to anyone.
