Kingsway Inn

We really enjoyed our stay. The place felt welcoming, and both the rooms and shared spaces were clean. Having free parking right outside the door was appreciated, and the common area was quiet. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone after a simple, heartfelt stopover. Five stars.

The rooms were really clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful when I needed directions for places to eat. Service was top quality. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Michigan.

Hot water, a strong shower, and an air conditioner that blew cold air mattered most to us, and this place had all three. The beds were much more comfortable than we expected, with great bedding, and the room was clean. It’s an older, small-town motel, so there was some wear: a few spackle spots and a couple of carpet stains. Nothing felt like a dealbreaker to us, though it might bother someone expecting a fancier place. The shower and sink faucets don’t match, which I didn’t mind. The desk person was courteous and quick, and we had no trouble with the neighbors. For an affordable room along the way, we’d stay again.

I rarely write reviews, but I’ve never seen a hotel room this clean. The man who checked us in was very nice, and the woman we saw in the morning was nice too. I’ll definitely stay here again.
