The location was perfect, with the beach less than a five minute walk away and restaurants and gift shops right outside. Shout out to Amy, who made this the best Carolina Beach vacation experience I’ve ever had. The Starlite Inn is an amazing place to stay. Our room was adorable and super clean, including the bathroom, beds, toilet, and fridge. It had brightly painted walls, cool decor, a full length mirror with a golden outline, and a huge TV. The fridge was bigger than any I’ve seen in a hotel room. The staff are there whenever you need them and provide whatever toilet paper, towels, and other basics you need. The AC gets super cold, which is perfect when it’s extremely hot outside, and the shower was nice and worked well. They also provided a whole Kureg machine with coffee pods, creamer, sugar, and cups. You can use your streaming services on their Roku. I watched YouTube every night lol! Please stay at the Starlite Inn, I promise you’ll have the time of your life! - Anna💕

We loved our stay. The room was clean and nice and cool, and the after-hours check-in went smoothly. Everyone was so friendly. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but it’s been brought back to life, and it was just what we needed. Great location, plus an outdoor shower where you can rinse off the sand before going inside. Thanks to the staff for a great visit.

The beach and nearby shops and restaurants are conveniently close, but we had a rough stay here October 10-12 for a wedding. We found a dead cockroach at our doorstep, and I caught another bug that had hitched a ride home in my suitcase and trapped it in a jar. The air-conditioning filter needed cleaning, and the warning light was on. The room smelled musty and aggravated my allergies. There wasn’t much room to hang or put things, so extra hooks for coats and towels would help. The shower was cramped and didn’t seem or smell very clean. There was just one iron and ironing board for the whole property, kept at the front office, which is open only from 9am to 5pm and unstaffed afterward. Guests going to the same rehearsal and wedding had to share it, which was difficult to manage in time. When I went into the office, the woman was lying on the couch and didn’t get up, which felt odd. She did bring the iron and board to our room.

Being able to walk to the beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants made this a really convenient place to stay. The room was small but clean, and worked well for me and my partner. The bathroom was also on the small side, though fine for a short visit. I had a great time here and would happily come back. Couples or small families should find it a good fit.

The hotel is super cute and the location is hard to beat for the price. I took my husband for a one-night birthday trip to the beach. There aren’t many amenities, and both the rooms and bathrooms are very small, so I hope the rates stay low. The room wasn’t terrible, but cleanliness could be better, and a little more effort there would make a difference. Thanks for an easy, cute stay.
