Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha Airport

I work at a Best Western, so I know this property can do better. My family stayed in a nicely remodeled room here just two weeks earlier, but Room 422 was unfinished and should not have been in use. The floor had paint splatters, and there was a hazardous gap between the bathroom flooring and carpet in our ADA room. It was also missing a chair, desk mirror, and hairdryer. We had to move the microwave to get to an outlet. We told the night auditor on our first night and mentioned everything again at checkout, but nobody offered to move us, give a discount, or even apologize. On top of that, school-aged guests on our floor kept trying the connecting door and knocked on ours at 5:00 a.m. The condition of the room and the lack of response were unacceptable.

The Park and Fly setup was really convenient. I booked for January 24, 2026, at the Best Western Plus near the Omaha airport, stayed the night before my flight, left my car in the lighted lot while traveling, then stayed another night after returning to Omaha. The shuttle was provided, and since my plane got in after 9:00 p.m., I was glad not to have to drive home at night. The room was neat and clean, with updated furnishings, including a TV, microwave, refrigerator, and desk. I believe the mattress and pillows were new. Breakfast had both hot and cold options, and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll stay here again.

We chose this hotel for the hot tub, hoping to relax, but across my four visits it has only worked once. This last time, the chlorine was so strong it gave me a rash and discolored my bathing suit. The location is great, and the King sized suite has plenty of space. The beds were a little hard.

Reddy at the front desk was kind and helpful, and made the stay especially enjoyable. The pool temperature was just right, the bed was really comfortable, and even though they’re remodeling, the place was kept clean. Old Market was a quick, inexpensive Uber ride away. We had a great stay and would come back.
