Every window in our room looked out on relaxing pines, and I loved starting the day in the cushioned window seat with its two big pillows and a book. We felt welcome as soon as we saw the property and our room, which had plenty of towels and toiletries. There are big cushioned rocking chairs on the front porch, plus a firepit with large chairs beside the building for gathering. The lobby livingroom has a cozy fireplace and a little sun room, giving you a bigger shared space if you want to leave your room. We were only two people, but this place would be great with a group. Outlook Lodge checks all the boxes, and I'd highly recommend it.

I'm writing this while enjoying the quiet and the rocking chairs, and I'm completely in love with this lodge. The fire pit and cozy porch stole my heart, and I had the best sleep of my trip. The room was lovely, with a spacious bathroom, nice toiletries, bathrobes, and a lamp. Even the towels smelled great. The lodge sits on a wooded hillside, so there are a few steps to climb, but it's worth it. It's an older building, and you may hear neighbors walking around, which just added charm for me. There's no front desk, but a phone on the property lets you reach a staff member with questions. Such a stunning place, it's hard to do it justice.

Having two adjoining bunk rooms in the Family Suite was worth its weight in gold for our first out-of-state trip with our two little ones, ages 2 and 5. We just got back from four nights, and it was a lovely stay. The kids had their own space to unwind, and the communal kitchen was well stocked, great for morning coffee and feeding them without going to restaurants. Our 5-year-old got teary leaving his room and loved exploring everything Green Mountain Falls had to offer. Nearby restaurants and shops, the park, and trails are all within walking distance. Other guests were respectful in the kitchen and common areas, and we enjoyed evenings on the porch and around the fire pit making s'mores. We'll absolutely be back.

The Outlook Lodge feels peaceful and tucked away on a hillside, while hiking trails, local dining, shops, and art exhibits are just steps away. We love its historic Victorian character with modern art touches, which make the place feel cozy and inviting. The guest rooms are comfortable, uniquely styled, and full of character. We especially appreciate the outdoor firepit, hot tub, and full kitchen. We highly recommend it for a scenic, comfortable mountain getaway with a bit of a different feel.

Our honeymoon night here felt magical. The room was so unique, and the lodge seemed frozen in time. It was classy and comfortable, with great service, and everything was easy. If you're after a fairytale, stay here :)
