The place is older, but they keep it in good shape, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly too. It’s a good deal if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night, though it’s not fancy. One small suggestion: toilet seats that close softly would be better than ones that slam.

The room was super clean, and the place was quiet, even though it’s close to all the main attractions. I mentioned some really bad past hotel experiences, and they showed me the room and explained how they clean. There’s no elevator, but the stairs were fine.

The desk staff were helpful, giving us a map of local sights and dinner suggestions. Our room was clean, and breakfast was very good. I’d recommend staying here :)

For our last night on the road before heading home, this worked as a budget-friendly place to sleep. It’s an older hotel, and the price reflects that, so go in knowing what to expect. Check-in (Sunny?) was friendly, and they told us at check-in that the TV service was down; a technician was already working on it. I’d probably want somewhere nicer at the start or middle of a vacation, but this was sufficient. It’s the only regular hotel in Casey, and it seems like it could attract more business with some investment. Highly recommend Cilantros Mexican if you’re in town. The room was clean and the beds were OK, which mattered most. The hallways had newer carpet and smelled OK, as did the room. The stairwells had an odor, with concrete steps and old carpet on the landings. We were beside a truck stop, and lights showed around the window shade all night, but that didn’t bother us. The truck noise wasn’t very noticeable overnight either. If that’s a concern, ask for a room on the other side of the building. The refrigerator in our room was noisier and more annoying. The tap water was clear and tasted fine. When I first turned on the bath water, it ran brown for a couple of seconds, like it hadn’t been used in a while. Nothing alarming, but it took several minutes to get hot, and I almost gave up. Breakfast was basic and all carbs, but enough to get us back on the road.

We were close to downtown, and the room suited us well for a short stay. In winter, I’d check in and turn on the heat right away so the room has time to warm up before bed. Ours was completely off when we arrived.
