The suite was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We liked having a fridge and microwave, plus the black washcloths that keep makeup from marking the white towels. The bench outside the bathroom was a smart touch too: we could set both duffle bags there, like a dresser, without bending over, and keep them out of the way so the room stayed neat. It was also handy to be able to get supplies. The main drawback was the curtain on the front door. It was hard to close when we left, and we didn't want people walking up and looking into the room. We managed, but a better solution would help. A room safe would be a good addition as well.

The fire pit and Adirondack chairs made for a cozy night in, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in the king bedroom and loved the cute decor and especially the super comfortable bed, which mattered a lot to us. We also got drinks in the lobby. The bartender was amazing and made the best old fashion and espresso martini. I'd recommend staying here when visiting Cashiers or Highlands.

We liked that Slabtown was an easy walk away, and the stocked fire pit was a nice touch. The motel is clearly older and has been renovated, but they've done a good job with it. Our room was clean and nice, and the front desk staff were friendly. The place gets busy at night, so another fire pit on campus would have been welcome. The on-site pantry is a good idea, though it could use more options. We enjoyed this small local spot and our stay, but felt it was a little overpriced for what we got. Cashiers is lovely, and you're close to everything.

I was in Cashiers, North Carolina for a wedding, and my first stay at Hotel Cashiers went smoothly. Check-in was seamless, the front desk team was very nice, and the rooms were great. There are dining spots and cafes nearby, with delicious food. I hope I get back to Cashiers again.

I stayed here while my home was being renovated, and now I send my overflow guests to this freshly renovated motel-style hotel. Everyone's been happy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the wine bar is a nice social spot, and the staff and service are great.
