We moved here on the second day of our family visit because construction at the hotel we had booked made us change plans. Hampton Inns rarely disappoint, and this one was no exception, especially because the staff were so helpful and kind. Sara was at the desk when we arrived just before noon. The room wasn't ready that early, which can go either way, and she apologized and offered to call when it was. We had things to do and would be out past 3, so I said there was no need. When we came back around 3:30, Sara welcomed us again, got us checked in quickly, and gave us local dining information. Later, Jo and another woman whose name I forgot were at the desk. I stopped to ask something, and it turned into a pleasant little conversation. The people here made an already pleasant stay even nicer.

The overnight staff made us a to-go bag every morning since we had to leave for our weeklong work trip before breakfast was available. I really appreciated the thoughtful help. Great hotel and location.

The hot breakfast was a hit, and the boys had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Our whirlpool suite fit our family of four well, with my two sons sleeping on the pullout couch. Every employee we met was friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn while visiting Gettysburg.

The welcome message on the TV was a fun little touch. The man who checked my sister and me in was efficient, friendly, and helpful, and both the hotel and room were beautiful and very clean. We skipped the breakfast buffet, though it smelled great at checkout, so I imagine it was good. I'm sure we'll be back.

The room was spotless, and the dining area stayed very clean. Our family of five was comfortable, especially since all three kids could sleep in beds. Finding a king and two queens in one room worked perfectly for traveling with teenagers. The hotel felt welcoming and well maintained. It's about two miles from many of the main attractions, with restaurants and shops nearby. We'd stay here again if we're back in the area.
