The website was urging people to hurry because rooms were going fast, but when we arrived the resort was so empty it felt like a post-apocalyptic movie set. They upgraded us without even pretending to type anything into the computer. If the smaller room is worse than that one, I feel for whoever gets it. The place is miles from anything fun, and at almost $300.00 a night I don’t think my expectations were unreasonable. The room felt decades out of date, like rotary phones were still cutting edge. The bed was like a medieval punishment device, parts were missing from the shower, and the drain.... didn't drain. YUGE disappointment. Unless they sell to someone like Trixie, rebuild the place, and give us a few free nights for the false advertising, I won’t be back. Lame.com Sad.com Shame.com Save your money and stay closer to the bars, where actual humans exist. A Motel 6 next to ANY airport looks luxurious compared with this place.

I came from Seattle for an event at CCBC a few weeks ago, and it turned into a vacation to remember. The room was spotless, the snack at the runway was tasty, and I got to catch some sun by the pool. What a great place. Can’t wait to come back 😋

Every time I visit, I find that something has been updated. They’ve made lots of improvements to the rooms and grounds. The front desk team is awesome, friendly and efficient, and even remembered us from earlier visits. We love coming here and feeling like we can just be ourselves. 100%.

We’d absolutely stay here again. My partner and I found it relaxing and respectful, with great amenities. I especially enjoyed the steam room and hot tubs. It’s also close to downtown and the airport.

The people who live locally and come here are friendly and welcoming to both new and returning guests. The staff are what really make CCBC a resort worth visiting. Eric, the owner, truly cares about the guest experience, and Lucas (manager?) is always personal and professional. It’s a sex-positive environment with lush, well-kept grounds, a welcoming pool, and a hot jacuzzi with powerful therapeutic jets. Rooms are clean, all A++. Treat yourself to a visit to a resort that’s been operating continuously for almost 25-years.
