The hallway carpets looked worn, there was some nighttime noise from the elevator or nearby rooms, and parking added to the cost. The pool area looked nice, though it was crowded when we went, and the gym was small with older equipment. Breakfast was the usual hotel spread of eggs, pastries, and coffee, nothing especially fresh or exciting. I was here for four nights on a business trip. The room was clean enough, the bed comfortable, the AC decent, and the Wi-Fi stayed connected. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were polite, though they didn't go beyond the basics. Nothing was especially good or bad. It's a no-frills Marriott that works if you just need a place to sleep. I wouldn't make a special trip to stay again, but I wouldn't avoid it either. Fine for the price, especially with Bonvoy points.

I've stayed here for almost a year for work, and the staff have been great about making sure I get the same room each week. The one serious problem is the south exit door. I've brought it up with staff and management before, and it's been broken for over a year. You could get out, but not in. This morning, 2/19/2026, I tried to leave and the door wouldn't open at all. That's a major safety concern since it's also an emergency fire exit. I hope this gets the door fixed, or I'll have to contact the state fire Marshall.

We slept well and started our trip rested, thanks to a very comfortable bed and a large, perfect shower. The hotel was new, clean, dark, and quiet, and maybe ten minutes from Columbia airport. We needed to stay overnight before an early flight.

The only view was of the road and parking lot, and the pool was out of service, which makes me wonder why it was advertised. Inside, the whole building smelled like a dirty, poorly filtered pool, and the shower wouldn't drain. Red and blue flashing security cameras gave the place an unsafe, uncomfortable feel. The morning manager was rude and unhelpful, even when I asked simple questions. Cleanliness, service, amenities, and atmosphere all fell short. I'd strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
