The ocean views from the back door were beautiful, and the place felt relaxing. Our room was nicely updated, right by the beach, and it was easy to park outside or close by. The front desk folks were nice too, with shops, restaurants, and the pier nearby. TMobile service worked pretty well, so I never needed the hotel WIFI. There was a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in the room, plus coffee in the lobby and afternoon cookies. TV channels were all standard ones in HD. If you bring a streaming device, there’s a wall connection box that makes it easy to reach the HDMI ports, and handy USB ports on the nightstand. I do wish there’d been an alarm clock to check the time. Downstairs rooms share a patio, so next year I might book upstairs for a private balcony. I’d stay here again.

The beds in our two queen room were super comfortable, and parking was easy with designated spots. The oceanfront location is stellar, but noise was a real issue: kids and dogs could get loud, and there’s no door between the bedroom and bathroom, so bathroom sounds bothered the other person trying to sleep. It felt like that missing door had been overlooked when the place was built. Bring earplugs and a sound machine. The receptionist seemed checked out most of the time, and it was hard to get her attention. They said the water was filtered, but I still wasn’t sure about its quality. The kids and bathroom setup were especially annoying.

The grounds were pristine, with a great BBQ spot and three firepits. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spotless. The beach access and view were hard to beat, and the sunsets were great. It’s pet friendly, though barking dogs could be a problem when we were trying to relax.

You’re just steps from the sand and within walking distance of everything. Check in and check out were first class, the rooms were clean, and the fire pits were a nice touch.

The front desk staff are amazing, and the new landscaping looks beautiful. We came for our anniversary in August and are already planning to return for my birthday in January. Can’t wait to see the decorations. It’s such a beautiful spot to unwind by the beach.
