There was a coffee maker, refrigerator, TV with Prime streaming, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. We liked the cement table outside our room, and the motel is very close to the beach. It’s quaint and extremely dog friendly, with a grassy spot and a fenced area for pets to do their business. Check in was by text since there was no staff around. I had trouble with the heater: even with the window open and the setting at 70°, it swung from too hot to a cool breeze and back to hot. The pillows were uncomfortable, and I didn’t think there were enough towels. If we ran out, I’m not sure how we could have gotten more. For the price, beach proximity, and pet setup, I’d recommend it if you’re bringing pets.

The beach is just behind the property, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Check in and check out were quick. If nobody’s around, call the number on the office door, or try the number listed on their website if that doesn’t work.

At night it was so quiet we could hear the waves, and it felt like a real escape. There’s no TV or phone in the room, which I loved. We had our dog with us, and the fenced little dog area was handy, with a dog beach just steps away. The management were friendly and knew the local things to do. Great places to eat and shop are an easy walk away.

My dog was welcomed here more than anywhere I’ve stayed. They even left a sweet gift with my dog’s name on it. You can tell a lot of care and kindness went into making this place so dog friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, between the beach and all the shops and restaurants. There’s also a beach shower and a couple of towels in the room to use at the beach. Five stars, and we’ll definitely be back.

The exterior looked cute and the location was great, but I couldn’t get anyone to check me in. A sign said to text, so I sent two messages and called once. The call went to a generic voicemail, and nobody got back to me. There were only three cars in the lot, so I really doubt the motel was full. I stayed at a nice place across the street instead.
