The room had a musty smell, and there were very few amenities. There was no coffee in the room, and the only working ice machine was in the office, which reeked of cigarettes. The parking lot was badly in need of repair, with so many bumps that loading and unloading the car was difficult. The bathroom light only worked with the fan on, so using the light meant putting up with constant fan noise. The heating unit was loud and woke us each time it came on. I expected better from a Wyndam hotel. I’ll never stay there again.

The location just off the interstate was convenient, but that was about the only upside. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned: there was dust on the headboard, lamps, and other spots, and I found someone else’s hair in the bed when I pulled back the sheets. The staff were nice and brought me fresh sheets, though I still felt uneasy about the room. It was so late that I didn’t go somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We found a dirty bandage on the bathroom floor in the second room, which made it clear the rooms hadn’t been cleaned carefully. In the first room, there was a toenail in the bed, so I went to the desk and asked for clean sheets. The woman there helped move us to another room. The bad start was at check-in: nobody was at the desk, and after we rang the service bell twice, someone told us we only needed to ring it once. We won’t stay here again.

The heater kept blowing cold air during the night, so we had to unplug it, and the sink was clogged too. On top of that, the listing promised breakfast, but there wasn’t any. The man at the desk said we could buy burritos at the gas station across the parking lot. We weren’t told checkout was at 10 am, then our keys stopped working without warning and staff started looking through the window. I don’t know how they can charge over $100 a night. I feel robbed.

The staff service was the best part. I arrived well past the usual check-in time after a delay, and Amber was accommodating, which let me get some much-needed sleep. The room was clean and fine for the price, with no frills. It’s conveniently just off I-15, and there’s coffee in the reception area. I had my dog with me.
