Lilly Pad Boerners Guest house

We love coming back to the Lily Pad. This was visit number five, and the rooms are always clean and welcoming. Denise is so friendly and accommodating when we check in. Cedarburg's shops, food, bars, winery, and beautiful surroundings keep us coming back. We'll definitely be here for a sixth stay!

The Lily Pad feels like home at Christmastime, with the character and charm of an old historic building. That's much more our style than a cold, impersonal prefab hotel. The owner clearly takes great pride in her business and town, and everyone I've met here has been so nice. This was my second stay, in a different room, the West Room, I think. Each room has its own story and personality. The layout was lovely, especially the little nook off the main room where I could have my morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and our private bathroom was exceptionally clean. We were here during the Christmas storm of 2022. The room stayed plenty warm, and the gas fireplace and whirlpool tub were especially welcome after coming in cold and windburned. We like walking everywhere, and the location is perfect for that. We left the car in the small lot at Western and Hanover, about a block away, and it worked well for our nearly weeklong stay. The Lily Pad is perfect for us. If you like a quaint place with lots of character, you'll love it.

Pretty cool place. The owner was a big help with winter parking, and the beautiful city is easy to get around on foot.

The bathroom door was the one small snag: it wouldn't latch or stay closed. Otherwise, we had a relaxing, romantic stay and enjoyed Winter Fest. Our room was lovely and quaint, with lots of small, thoughtful details. Denise was helpful at check-in and shared plenty of information about town. We'd definitely stay at Lilly Pad again.
