We stayed at the Schroeder house, two small buildings down from the Inn. It was a great place in a very central location, with friendly staff and clean rooms. The wine and cheese selection was nice, and breakfast was set up so cutely. There was a good spread of baked goods, and they were so good. They also had fresh-cut fruit in cute little cups, boiled eggs, and an omelet with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa to add if you wanted.

Terri made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She patiently walked my fiancée and me through the property, showing us each room and answering all our questions with care and enthusiasm. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made us comfortable and excited as we planned a future pre-wedding stay. She helped us feel sure we'd picked the right place for such a special time in our lives. Terri is a real gem, and we can't wait to return to the Washington House Inn.

The bed was soft as a cloud, and the wine and cheese hour was a nice touch. Breakfast was great, and the service fantastic. We left a pair of shoes in the room, and they kindly mailed them to Chicago. A cozy place.

We barely left the main street during our Cedarburg trip. There are tons of good restaurants and fun shops just steps away, and the location is perfect. At happy hour, the room was full of people playing board games and cards, and both the food and drinks then and at breakfast were amazing. I wanted a special bed and breakfast for a short trip with my wife, and Washington House Inn was perfect. Every room is different, and the charm at WHI beats a standard hotel by a mile. Our room got a little hot, but when I asked for a fan, one arrived in less than five minutes. They also got me champagne glasses right away. A phenomenal experience, highly recommended.

We had a great anniversary getaway here, close to Milwaukee. The place was super cute, clean, and romantic, with friendly, accommodating staff. Our room had a large jacuzzi and Victorian finishes.
