The room was comfortable and clean, and the rates were good. The hotel is about a mile from the Silver Comet trail, which made it convenient for us bikers. They accommodate bikers and their bikes, which is great.

Last night, when we got here, the place smelled like a septic tank. I've stayed here three times and it's okay, but I swear they call your room to complain even if your music is softer than your normal speaking voice.

The website claimed there was a hot tub, but there wasn't one. In the room, the carpet was dirty and everything felt very outdated. The bathroom had a half-done tile repair, a clogged shower head, and a mushy tub that didn't drain right.

The room smelled bad and the windows were cracked. The owner was also the front desk associate, and was as inhospitable as possible. You can run a hospitality business by making everything as spartan and frugal as possible, but you end up with a decrepit, disgusting, thoroughly unpleasant place. Absolute garbage.

Quiet, safe location, fair prices, great facilities, and helpful staff. This place is excellent. I'd stay here 10 out of 10 times again!
