Center Harbor Inn

Lake Winnipesaukee was a great view, and the place was clean throughout. The location worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was great, too. I also thought it was good value, with useful amenities like the free continental breakfast, sauna, hot tub, and fitness room. One suggestion for management: I don’t trust hotel carpets, so a simple pair of slippers would make the stay even better.

We’d stayed in the Lakes Region plenty of times, but this was our first winter visit to Center Harbor Inn. The whole place was so clean, and every staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

We could walk down to the beach for the views, which were beautiful even with everything covered in snow. The property is right on the beach, though most of the little room balconies face the parking lot, so there isn’t much to see from them. The location itself is great, and check-in was quick and easy. The service was excellent. We asked for an iron and ironing board, and they were in our room in under five minutes. Breakfast is continental and served daily from 8-10am, with eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels, and more. My husband and I loved our weekend here. It feels like a lovely spot for a romantic getaway, and we’d definitely recommend it. 10/10!

I’m a finish carpenter, and I noticed how carefully the rooms were put together. The decor was nice, with solid wood used in several places, and none of it felt cheap or thrown together. Whoever hired the finishing crew clearly cared about the small details. The whole property looked very well maintained, too. We visited in the off season, so it was quiet, and the staff were always around when we needed something. Breakfast was included, nicely prepared, and served in a pleasant little dining room. We’ll definitely plan to return.
