La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Centralia

The rooms were clean, and we had no noise trouble. Check-in was easy, and breakfast had so many choices. The pool is on the small side, but it's warm. I usually pick La Quinta because it's consistent, and this one lived up to that. They did hand me a threatening note about how my children should behave at check-in. That made me sad about society more than angry at the company. Great value for the price, and I'd recommend it.

The breakfast spread was the biggest I've seen in about 150 hotels a year, and it's free. Better than what I've had at pricey, highly rated places. Special thanks to Shannon! Check-in was fast, easy, and friendly; the room was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel and area around it were quiet. I love this place and will definitely stay at this La Quinta location again.

The breakfast was outstanding, with loads to choose from. I had a waffle and link sausage, then went back for biscuits and gravy. I stuffed myself and still wanted more, but there was no room left. The cook came out to check the temperature of the food. Five stars for breakfast. Kayla made our stay, though. I'm Dee, and my wife is Becky. I checked us in around 9 pm and had forgotten my wife asked for a handicap room because she has Neuropathy in her legs. The first room had a low toilet and no grab bars. Kayla gladly switched us and said she could get an extender if the toilet was still low. There were bars in the new room, but the toilet was low, so I went back for the extender. It was brand new, and it worked perfectly. Kayla used to be a caregiver and had made sure the manager ordered these. I must have gone downstairs five times asking for things, and she happily helped every time. Five stars for Kayla. The building is new, about two years old according to the maintenance man, and sits on the outskirts of Centrailia near a residential area. It's very quiet apart from the occasional train, which I find soothing. The room was clean and well kept. The bed was too hard for my wife, though fine for me. The shower pressure was medium, and the shower head had two settings. One might have been okay with stronger pressure. Four stars for the room, or four and a half if I could give that. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

On a road trip, I stayed one night. The room was clean and affordable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty of choices and was great. I'd absolutely stay again.
