Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Modesto Ceres

Kendra greeted us with a great, welcoming personality, and we had a clean, bright, spacious room. There was a microwave kitchen with an under-counter fridge, but no dishes or silverware. A great stop on our drive north. We'll stay again!

I've stayed here twice now, four nights total, and would come back if I'm in the Modesto/Ceres area. The hotel and rooms were clean, though not immaculate. Even with the frontage road beside the freeway, I didn't find the traffic noise excessive. Breakfast had wrapped pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and a pancake machine as the only hot item. Staff were friendly. They weren't doing daily housekeeping, but the housekeepers checked whether we needed extra towels or anything else. I'd recommend it for a short stop if you're passing through.

The staff were professional, courteous, and caring, and made me feel welcome and understood when I came in. It felt like being among friends instead of just another customer. The place is easy to reach from the main road.

Isabella at the desk, the clerk with partly dyed curly red hair, was so helpful and sweet. A rude customer behind me was scolding her for no reason, but Isabella stayed professional and tried her best to help. If her manager reads this and that customer complains about her, don't believe them. Isabella, you're very awesome sauce. Don't let her get to your head.
