Staff were polite, though they questioned why I needed extra towels. The place was junky outside, with mattresses and hidden toilets. There was no coffee pot in the room, and the hair dryer was broken.

The room was so filthy we couldn’t even sit on the bed, and we didn’t stay. The sheets and towels were dingy and dirty, and the bedspread looked like it was from the 70s and hadn’t been cleaned. They refunded 50 percent, which wasn’t enough. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I was there two nights in room 206 because of the storm. You get what you pay for, and I gave it three stars. The room was cold enough that I had to crank the heat, since I could see outside around the door while looking out from inside. The peephole had a wad of paper stuffed in it to block the view from outside. Showers need to be quick because hot water runs out fast. The comforters looked like they were from the 80s, and the towels were thin and rough. After the storm, every business had been plowed except the red carpet, so I walked through 10 inches of snow to reach my vehicle. Wayne avenue is busy, and you’ll hear traffic all night if you’re not a sound sleeper.

The staff were friendly and quick, and the room and bathroom were clean and neat. Nothing fancy, though. The “kitchen area” was just a small fridge with a microwave sitting on top near the door. Still, the accommodations were worth the money.
