The room was a great find, especially during a school break when it was really inexpensive. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was included and you could eat there or take it to go. There’s a small fitness room on site, plus they gave me free passes to the amazing ARC fitness center. Staff were fantastic and treated me like I was at a 4- or 5-star hotel. I know prices can vary with events in CU, but this stay was top notch.

The walls are thin enough that I could easily hear the neighbors. Housekeeping also came into our room without knocking even though we had the do not disturb sign up. Still, the room was comfortable, clean, and up to date, and I enjoyed my stay for UI-Con.

We’ll definitely be back. The hotel was spotless, the amenities were great, and the staff went out of their way for our family. They found my child’s forgotten plush toy and shipped it to California for free. That kind of care and kindness is rare. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I travel a lot, and the staff here really are amazing. The hotel itself, though, didn’t match the hype or the price. My room stayed 2-3 degrees colder than the thermostat setting most of the time, and I noticed the same issue in the conference center during meetings. The shower was only hot enough with the dial turned all the way up; otherwise the water was lukewarm at best. The mini fridge was sometimes loud, and its cabinet door wouldn’t shut completely. Breakfast was free, so I hate to complain, but the opening time varied and the food wasn’t very good.

I’m pretty particular, and after being disappointed by three other places in Champaign, I was so glad to find this hotel. The staff, restaurant team, and housekeeping were all helpful, caring, and professional. We had lunch outside by the fire tables, then drinks there later. Breakfast was much better than the usual free spread, with warm, delicious burritos in just the right size. Our room was clean and exceptional, with Starbucks coffee and super soft robes. Alexa even played my jam 😅😅😅.
