Chapel Hill InnTown

We were five people, and Eric accommodated us well. The apartment was set up and stocked nicely, reasonably clean, and close to both campus and Carrboro. We also enjoyed being able to make breakfast there. Eric communicated clearly, so the instructions were easy to follow and we had a great stay. Chapel Hill InnTown met our needs perfectly.

I spent three weeks here while doing research at the University of North Carolina, and would definitely stay again. It was a cosy, clean apartment with useful amenities, including a washer and dryer as well as the usual stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The location worked well for me, with two bus stops nearby and several buses going to UNC Hospitals and back. Good food at reasonable prices was less than a five-minute walk away. Long-distance phone calls were also very cheap here, unlike at hotels where they can be pricey.

Eric is a great host, always attentive and available. I keep coming back whenever I'm in Chapel Hill. The campus and Franklin Street are a short walk away, and the Bolin Creek Greenway is just two minutes on foot. From there, you can walk to Carrboro or the other side of town.

The townhouses feel dark and dingy, with secondhand furniture, terrible lighting, and a moldy smell. It also felt like the owner was constantly watching to see if we had too many lights on. You can stay at the Marriott Residence Inn for less and get a clean room, good furniture, a pool, and breakfast included. I'd tell everyone to stay away.
