Hilton Club Liberty Place Charleston

For my daughter’s birthday, the staff went out of their way to make her feel special. They made signs, gave her balloons and treats, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were. The room was amazing too, with stunning views, a great bed and bathroom, and a modern feel. The service is hard to beat. This hotel is top notch.

The suite made our five days in Charleston cozy and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet the whole time. We never heard doors slam or other noise. We walked to the market in about 15 min, and to the carriage ride and some shops. The first evening, the biergarten was two blocks away. There’s also a free bus that dropped us about two blocks from the hotel, which isn’t right in the busy tourist area but is still within walking distance. The outdoor patio had comfy furniture and tables, nice for a break between sightseeing and dinner. The hotel was immaculate, with a small bar and a bistro for coffee, bagels, acai bowls, and egg sandwiches. We used the very nice gym every day. Our suite was immaculate too, with lots of nice amenities: remote control blinds, comfortable furniture, a beautiful kitchen and bedroom with plenty of storage, and a washer and dryer that came in handy. I also loved the heated toilet seat and bidet, spacious bathroom, TV in the mirror, good lighting, and magnifying mirror. The valet guys were pleasant and prompt when we asked for the car. The front desk ladies were nice, though not overly friendly. The $49 daily parking fee was a bit much. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we travel to the area.

The rooms were superb, the staff were awesome, and you can walk to a ton of places from here. It’s a great spot and one of 7 of this type of Hilton in the world. If you can afford it, stay here. The main frustration was having to cast everything on the TV from my phone. It often wouldn’t connect or would disconnect, then took about 15 mins of fiddling to get going again.

The hotel is clean, centrally located, and has very nice rooms. There’s no on-site dinner restaurant, but other places to eat are close by, so that wasn’t a deal breaker. The bar serves lite apps after 4pm, and a smoothie place with breakfast food and lite lunch stays open until 2 or 3pm. Across from the parking lot is a high-end restaurant called Marbled and Fin. It has great apps and a nice bar lounge area, though we didn’t have dinner there. Valet parking was convenient at a 49.00 dollar nightly fee. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hilton.
