Edgewater Inn- Charlevoix

The view was such a highlight, especially at sunrise, and the fireplace made the condo feel warm and welcoming. It was spotless and even better-looking than the photos. The staff were super friendly, and the place worked perfectly for us.

The apartment was in excellent shape and had been recently renovated. We loved the fireplace, the view, and the location in Charlevoix, though the complex itself looked a little worn. Our main disappointment was the hot tub by the pool: it wasn’t working, and the front desk couldn’t say when it might be fixed. That was a big part of why we booked here.

We watched the bridge drop from the balcony, and the unit was a lovely place to come back to after exploring. It was clean, nicely decorated, and great for relaxing and warming up. With all the snow, though, we had to take our boots off before stepping onto the carpet, and there wasn’t a place to hang wet gear. That would only bother me in winter; I don’t see it being an issue in summer. We’d happily stay here again.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and the view was great. The beds were excellent, the bathrooms felt high-end, and there was plenty of storage. The two-level setup gave my wife, our adult daughter, and me room to spread out over Thanksgiving weekend. It was comfortably and thoughtfully furnished, one of our best VRBO stays. We’ll come back next fall.
