I had a small maintenance request, and Kelley handled it promptly, kindly, and very competently. Shout out to Kelly and the whole Camden team. They’re some of the best people, and I’m loving living here 🙂

I’ve lived here almost six years, and now I’m a retired finance “bro” heading off to travel the world. Wherever you go, it’s the people who make it. I’ve seen many faces here, but Maree Johnson, or MJ, deserves a special mention. She’s been incredibly helpful this week with my move out and printing all kinds of travel documents for my upcoming trips. What stands out is her upbeat energy and how quickly she gets things done. Maybe she pounds energy drinks all day. If you’re having a bad day, go see her. You could even make a fake service request. Jamie is another special person. She visits different properties, so you have to catch her when she’s at Camden Southend. She’s a straight shooter with a thick northern accent, and although her manner can be aggressive, she has a big heart. I’ll always remember how she helped when my mother was sick. Thank you, Jamie. Truly. And then there’s Antjuan. Black Santa keeps his beard impeccable. He looks like a reverse albino polar bear, but he’s one of the best maintenance guys around. I saw him lift a washer and dryer like a kid picking up a crayon. Jokes aside, he fixes problems and makes sure they’re done right the first time. Thank you, brother. I wish you all the best! The team here will make you feel like family and do their best to meet your requests. Camden Southend is conveniently between uptown and Southend. The parking deck can make you dizzy, mail gets delivered all over the place because of lazy A55 USPS, not UPS, and AMAZON WORKERS, and some bad pet owners don’t pick up their animals’ shit. The fire alarms have been fixed for the people who complained. People don’t read SHlT anymore unless something is negative or there’s a cuss word to grab their attention. I’m not an illiterate crybaby whining about things like fire alarms, since I know there are tradeoffs and things aren’t always perfect. The people here take care of things to the best of their ability. Take from that what you want. If you got this far, consider Camden Southend as an option for home. Hope this review helps. Camden has been a fantastic experience for me. Employees do a great job making accommodations for everyone, and if you can’t get to the office in time to pick up a package, they’ll even bring deliveries left at the office into your unit. People complain about parking, but I’ve seen plenty of cars in the deck without decals or guest passes. My guess is those drivers are behind the one-star reviews. Follow the rules and there won’t be parking problems.

Other things in the apartment are great, but I’ve had four packages stolen, which is extremely disappointing and frustrating. The complex hasn’t done anything to add cameras or fix the system. If you care about your packages and deliveries, don’t live here.
