Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte Northlake

The area felt really bad, and I found a crack pipe on the floor as soon as I lifted the mattress to check it. I took a photo, went straight back to the desk, and said I wasn't staying and wanted my money back. The man there told me to call the booking number, so I did and am still waiting for the refund. Hilton garden inn was the best of the best.

When I arrived, the app price wasn't what I was charged, and there was also a $25 key fee. I've been waiting for that key fee refund since checking out on 8/17/2025. I booked a king room for smoking and asked for the first floor for medical reasons, but they put me on the third floor. In the parking lot, a couple was fighting and the police came and locked the guy up, which was not a good look. They charged me to move to another room that I asked for. I'll never stay at that hotel again.

I paid $115, which wasn't worth it when the online rates were lower. The room was dirty, the bathroom was gross, and the AC kept cycling on and off all night because it was broken. There was no hot water the night we arrived, and the next day it only worked when the toilet was flushed. I also see three charges on my card, two for $140 and one for $115. If the two larger ones don't disappear in a couple of days, I'll call and dispute everything.

We left and went somewhere else after police showed up the first night and tased someone. They didn't refund the second night. There were no towels in the room when we checked in, and breakfast was just coffee and donuts. Don't trust the website or photos. This place isn't safe or acceptable in any way. I wish I could rate it below one star.
