We came back after being away for a few hours and our key card no longer worked. Looking through the window, I saw all our things had been taken out. The desk worker said housekeeping removed them because our stay had been cancelled, but none of us had cancelled. He said it was cancelled after we'd mentioned getting a refund, and nobody told us they were doing this, even though staff knew we'd been in the room for two hours. If we'd known, we'd have left right then. When we got our belongings back, my friend found cash missing from his wallet. The worker said he'd check the cameras, as if there were cameras in the room. Another guest with a key card problem overheard us and got worried about staying there. Other hotels we visited while looking for a new place all said coming here had been a flat-out mistake. Getting checked in took an hour, and the desk worker asked us very personal, strange questions. The first room we were given was dirty, which he knew, so he moved us. We'd already said we were going ahead with a refund, but we stayed in the room for two hours before leaving for a while.

The room was filthy and hot, the smoke alarm kept beeping, and the bathroom was falling apart. I left after 30 minutes, and can't believe I spent 15,000 Wyndham points on this. ETA: Google is clearly filling up with fake reviews. No real person could see this "hotel" and give it five stars. The rooms look nothing like the photos. BEWARE.

The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean with no odd smells or bugs. My family and I stopped here for the night while driving through town. It went well, and we'll come back.

I wasted $6 because they didn't simply check whether the washing machine worked when I asked to use the laundry room.
