I’ve been here for over two weeks now, and my experience has been great so far. The staff are friendly, patient, and really helpful. Nataleigh at the front desk deserves a special thank you for being so nice and courteous. The housekeepers do a great job too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

I’ve been visiting friends here for a few months and met Miss Nataleigh at the front desk when I asked for tissue and toothbrushes. I think she used to work nights, though I see her in the morning now. The breakfast table is always clean and stocked when she’s there. We got off to a rocky start, my fault, but she’s stayed attentive and kind even when people are rude and swear at her. Kudos, Nataleigh. You handle a lot and still keep smiling.

The staff are the best part of staying here, and they’re very helpful. But the rooms look like they’re falling apart, and the whole hotel needs an upgrade. It’s not a quiet place, either. Roaches crawl around, especially at night, though it hasn’t been too bad. Room service and fresh towels are only offered once a week, and the carpets and floors look nasty from other people’s pets. The staff don’t have resources to help when you’re struggling to pay. They’ll put you out even if you have kids, without trying to find a solution.

Marco, the general manager, is helpful and caring, and the housekeeping and front desk teams provide service around the clock. I love the hotel and staff overall, but please be careful around the person claiming to be security. He’s a big Black man who wears a black hat and yellow shoes, and he tends to linger in the parking lot between about 2 and 5 a.m., smoking and bothering tenants. I sent my 12-year-old out with trash, and the man got in his face, asked if he smoked weed, then followed him and yelled that he had to be in his room by a certain time. He also said he gets paid “very well to do this.” He claimed other staff give him tenants’ personal information, though I don’t know if that’s true. He doesn’t seem like a functional adult to me, and I wonder if someone is taking advantage of him. Sometimes I wonder if employees are paid under the table. I hope the building can keep improving. Thank you, and have a blessed day.

The only issue during my stay was roaches coming into my room after nearby rooms were cleaned out. My spouse got a rash on parts of his body. A few sprays after a quick Walmart trip seemed to help, and it hasn’t been happening as much or as often. Nyoka and Katrina have been wonderful about helping with each extension. They’re welcoming and ready to help, and my room was clean when I arrived. The location is close to food places, a Walmart, a light rail station, and more. Check-in is simple, the rooms are affordable, and the stay has been peaceful.
