The room, 302, faced the street and had a nice downtown view. It was spacious and comfortable, the heat worked perfectly, and the water was hot enough that I had to let it run to get it cold. I’ve never seen that before, and I was impressed. The whole stay was easy, and I’ll be back. I stayed at the Sheraton after the NE concert because I wanted somewhere close and affordable. The lobby had a fun, upbeat vibe, and there weren’t any questionable vibes. I met some really great people, both staff and other guests. I checked out this morning, and honestly expected this brand to be incredible.

We only had one night to enjoy the great view, so we made the most of it. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was top notch. The bed was more comfortable than my own.

The bar and restaurant service was very good, and the doorman and valet were friendly. The elevators were fast too, usually with less than a minute of waiting. But the room keys for me and other customers didn’t work, sending us back downstairs to get them fixed. My room’s bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working. Engineering came up, looked at it, mumbled something, and left without addressing it during my stay. The rooms are tiny, with hardly enough space for a real closet, and the bathroom is cramped. The parking lot is confusing and nobody explained how it worked. Since the room key sensor at the entrance gate was broken, I was charged for parking on my bill and again at the gate. It almost seemed like a scam, and Marriott management should look into it. For the room and parking, the price is out of line, and the parking setup feels deceptive. We spent two nights at the Sheraton Charlotte during a busy wedding weekend and ate at the on-site restaurant. It was relaxing and comfortable, with warm staff, spotless accommodations, and a peaceful feel right in the middle of the city. We can’t wait to come back, for work and for ourselves. Overjoyed Weddings & Events had the honor of planning a wedding there this summer. Brianna, the venue manager, was a joy to work with: attentive, organized, and truly invested in making each step run smoothly. She made our job much easier, and we’re grateful for her partnership. The valet greeted me, and I felt safe during my stay. Parking was $25/night. The room was decent, though I was disappointed that it had no view. I asked for a bathrobe, and it took over an hour to arrive. The location was good, so I didn’t have to drive very far.
