Evergreen Inn

My family and I have felt comfortable here during our stay while trying to get an apartment. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are really friendly and nice. The rooms aren't modern, but they are clean. I've never had an issue with bed bugs or roaches.

There was flooding outside when we left, up to our knees. Inside, the AC and heater didn't work, so they lent us a space heater. Water from the pipe under the sink spilled all over the floor, and the manager asked if we knew how to fix it without offering a discount for doing so. The bathroom floor was really dirty, with lots of hairs in the close-up photos, and the towel rod was broken and on the floor. Behind the dressers, fridge, and microwave was a disgusting mess of debris from years before, including a gross roach motel behind the microwave.

Management is super nice and makes us feel comfortable, which makes this a five star stay in our book even if it isn't a five star hotel. We enjoyed our time here a lot. It's also really close to lots of places.

There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, plus a laundromat right here and a 7-eleven on the corner. I'd heard people say bad things about the rooms at The Evergreen Inn, so I wanted to see for myself. What I found was pretty decent, and after renting a room, I thought it was really nice. I'd call it an okay rating.
