Walk to Lake Chelan: Condo w/ Pool Access

The rooms shown on the website are the biggest ones. Ours was smaller and crowded, with two beds squeezed into a space meant for one. There was barely room to turn around without stepping on something. The kitchenette was just a fridge doubling as a TV stand and a microwave, with no cupboards, stove, or dining area like the photos showed. The sink was too small for washing dishes, and the AC couldn’t keep up in the afternoon or evening. It only cooled down late at night. There wasn’t a screen on the window, so opening it meant letting bugs in. Wi-Fi rarely worked, and the TV usually got just 3-5 random channels. The parking lot felt too small for the number of cars. There were wasps around the outdoor cooking and eating area, and the pool area smelled like dog pee. On the plus side, everything in the room was clean, as was the pool. It’s affordable, walkable to a nice park and beach, and the outdoor grills, including a griddle, are useful when the rooms don’t have stoves. This is very much a get-what-you-pay-for motel.

The owners were welcoming and just good people, and the rates felt fair even in summer. The rooms have a bit of a 90s look, but ours was incredibly clean, smelled good, and had a really open lake view. We were happy with the stay and plan to keep coming back. There’s a clean pool with floaties, BBQ grills with propane supplied, and a small playground. For what you get, this motel is a hidden gem among fancy, overpriced rooms offering the same things. Highly recommend 😁

My sister, friend, and I had the best time here. The owners were wonderful, and their hospitality made the trip memorable. They cleaned our room each day, brought extra pillows, and made us feel at home. We slept really well, and the room was lovely. Thank you so much!

We were on motorcycles and almost rode right past this place, so I’m glad we spotted it. It was quiet, very clean, and well kept, with a carport beside the room for parking. The owners, Rudy and Clara, work on site and were incredibly cordial, going out of their way to help with our needs. Our room had a microwave, fridge, and fully stocked kitchen. I’d strongly recommend staying here if you’re driving through or visiting Lake Chelan.
