Willow Springs Motel

I stayed for 2 days and never got a working TV remote. I thought the batteries might be dead, but they didn’t have a single battery anywhere. There were also lots of tiny spiders crawling around. Go somewhere else. They need to put a crap description below.

This place was clean, but I paid $1600.00 for one month, plus a $140.00 pet deposit. After moving into a 2-bedroom, I found out the previous customer had paid only $1,200.00 for the same 2-bedroom for a month. I moved out of this hotel on January, 10, 2025, and the manager refused to give my money back. The manager was not very nice. Please don’t stay in this motel. You’re wasting your money.

We needed to visit our daughter at EWU, and this place was nearby and described as pet friendly. At least we got a ground-floor room, which made walking the dog easier. But they added so many charges: extra for the kid, extra for the dog, an extra deposit, and more. It pushed our reasonably priced room to well over $100/night. The room’s cleanliness was questionable, and I have dogs, so my standards are low. I also think having the bathroom light switch inside the shower may violate building code. We could have found something better for the price after all those fees. We’re unhappy and will never come back. Any other ratings above one or two stars should be tossed.

I was unsure about staying here after reading some reviews, but had a great experience. Now I stay whenever I’m passing through Cheney. The gentleman is always friendly and helpful, and my rooms have been immaculately clean. I like the character of the building, and that I’m supporting a real person instead of a huge chain. Great place!
