If you have limited mobility, this place isn’t great. The room was shabby: peeling wallpaper, black patches on the mirrors, and holes in the shower. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned and sanitized properly, since a used bar of soap was still in there. It felt like they wanted to be Inn of the Dove but didn’t want to pay to meet that standard.

I’ve been coming to this property for more than six years, but the customer service has gotten worse since the original owner became ill and passed away and his brother took over. The changes have been for the worse. The new women show no respect and don’t seem to know how customer service works. I already told the new owner about how one particular woman spoke to me. He said nothing, then asked whether I thought he should replace the carpet or flooring. I’m a decorator and get paid to decorate rooms for clients, and sometimes for myself. I used to check in at 11 am, decorate the room, and give my clients the keys. Two days ago, a young man told me to call and check availability and said I should be able to do that at no cost. This morning I was told the earliest check-in is 2 pm and there’s still a fee to check in one hour early. Now I’ll have to find somewhere else for all my clients. So inconvenient.

The room we booked wasn’t the one we got, which felt like false advertising. We asked to switch and the second room was even worse. The rooms were disgusting, with stains on the bed, and the website photos look more than ten years old. I have photos. It’s a scam. Do not go here!

We’ve been coming here for over eight years and have seen no upgrades, only a decline. Even the same late-70s Corvette has been parked by the office the whole time. They also show a breakfast area that I’ve never been able to use. Today was the last time I’ll pay $285 for a night here. We stayed in the “King Tut” room today. The carpet is coming up where it meets the tile, and the AC didn’t work. Its filter was dirty, and the compressor never started. I’m an HVAC tech. There was mold in the ice bucket lid, the GFCI plate by the sink needs replacing, and the sink countertop needs repainting. Some lights were cool white and others warm white.
